Lodge members who move on and leave Manchester, wish to keep in touch and stay involved with the Lodge. Some maintain their full membership; but some move too far for this to be practical or economically justifiable. These members can apply to become associate members of the Lodge. In doing so, they are included in correspondence, receive the Lodge/Provincial news and circulars and get invited to various Lodge or area-wide events. Associate members pay a modest annual fee and whilst they may join local Lodges including other Scheme Lodges in their respective areas; this subscription keeps them in good contact with the Lodge.
